We, the Children's Ministry Team at Franklin Heights Baptist Church, strive to make each child feel welcomed, loved and accepted as they grow in the knowledge and grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

We offer a positive learning environment where God's love is shared on a continual and daily basis.  We base our teaching on the inerrant, living Word of God.  Our goal is for each child to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, walk in obedience to God's authority and to grow in Christian maturity.  We know we are teaching the future leaders of our church and community and are committed, as leaders, to serving the Lord with all our heart, soul, strength and mind.

Our new leader:
Trina Boitnott

Trina is a Virginia Tech graduate with a Bachelors of Science in Business Management and a Virginia Teaching Endorsement in three Special Education Areas.  She was called to our staff in October 2006.  Her primary responsibilities are children and parent education and child evangelism.  Originally from Salem, Virginia, Trina married Dale Boitnott, a dairy farmer, in 1992.  They have two children - Joshua and Brittany.
