Joy Explosion 2006

Joy Explosion is a youth camp comprised of 10-15 churches located in the Southwest Virginia region.  The camp is 100% volunteer run, meaning that there are no individuals paid by Joy Explosion.  Youth ministers and workers meet throughout the year to plan Joy Explosion for the upcoming year.

Franklin Heights has been involved with this camp for over twenty years.  It has been a camp where many of our students have made serious and lasting commitments to Christ.

At Joy Explosion, you can expect to:

Have you ever felt empty, like a dry well?  Have you ever felt like you were all alone with no one to turn to?  Join us for JOY EXPLOSION 2006 and hear how to get beyond all of those feelings and to deepen your walk with Jesus Christ.  Learn to be filled with His wonderful love.

FEATURED SPEAKER:

   Craig Tackett is a gifted communicator.  Over the past ten years God has continued to open up numerous oportunities for Craig to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with people across the U.S.  His fun, energetic personality attracts people of all ages and allows him to effectively communicate God's Word to today's generation.  He is humorous and captivating, but most importantly, he is Biblical and relevant.  Craig travels all year speaking and leading worship for camps, retreats, revivals, conferences, and any other place where God allows him to share.  Craig currently lives in Spring Hill, TN with his wife, Brittany and their daughter, Tyler.

2006 JOY EXPLOSION MISSION STATEMENT:

JOY EXPLOSION Youth summer camp seeks to glorify God and teach those involved to have a stronger relationship with God.  The camp shall have as its purpose the worship of God, teaching of the Bible, discipling and equipping of the saved, and evangelism of the lost.
