September 20, 1970 - Franklin Heights formally dedicated its new school building. The addition added seven classrooms and three restrooms to the building (approximately 2,900 square feet).

November 24, 1974 was "Miracle Day" as Franklin Heights undertook a major building expansion, to include a new sanctuary that would seat 528 and would cover 7,000 additional square feet at an estimated cost of $255,000. The offering goal for "Miracle Day" was $36,000 - $52,116.92 was contributed in cash and pledges!
1975 Budget: $49,560.81
January 21, 1976 - The church voted to purchase its first organ at a price of $9,594.
February 8, 1976 - The Dedication Program for the new sanctuary:
April 7, 1976 - The church voted to begin a weekly radio program featuring the morning worship service beginning May 1, 1976.
