Strawberry Festival – May 14th

The Strawberry Festival is an annual event held at the Farmer’s Market in downtown Rocky Mount. This year it will be May 14th, 2010. It starts at 6:30 pm and ends at 8:30 pm. Strawberries, ice cream, snow cones, popcorn and good bluegrass music are all part of the evening. ALL IS FREE! Don’t miss this wonderful evening and invite other to join us. The event is a gift from Franklin Heights Baptist Church to our community.
I took my kids to the festival this year and we had the best time. We all loved the ice cream! I believe it was the best strawberry ice cream I’ve ever had! Everything was wonderful! I look forward to next year!
